A Clowning Workshop in Mask Theater
A fundraiser workshop for the Port Gamble Theater Company in Port Gamble WA.
$10 per day or $15 for two days. Come for one or both days.
Craig Jacobrown will offer a mask workshop that brings participants through a series
of exercises to introduce the 'LeCoq' method of mask carriage and character development
through movement, attitude and intention.
Day 1: Neutral Mask- clear clean physical communication
Swiss Carnival Masks: the geometry of gesture, stance and movement
Day 2: Rediscovering the world through our elemental animal
Commedia dell' Arte, the fast paced wild antics of these ubiquitous characters
August 4th and 11th
1pm to 5pm each day
